About tomorrow’s (3-15-20) services at New Brighton Christian Church

As you know, many people are worried about the spread of the coronavirus, and some churches have chosen to close for the weekend. At New Brighton Christian Church, we will be holding our regularly scheduled services tomorrow.

While we will be well under the CDC guideline of gatherings of 250, we acknowledge that a significant portion of our congregation are among the most vulnerable to coronavirus. So while we would love to worship with you, we encourage you to use your discretion.

There will be some staffing changes tomorrow. The youth Sunday School will meet with the adult Wired Word class. We will be talking about a church in Maine that was started for bikers who didn’t feel welcome at other churches. And we will not have a Jr. Worship time tomorrow, which means there will be no practice for the children’s Easter program. Parents are encouraged to bring their younger children to the nursery, or make use of the busy bags in the back of the sanctuary.

If you are nervous about being in a crowd of people, please stay home and watch us on Facebook live. We have a new video camera that allows us to broadcast in HD. Check us out at facebook.com/newbrightonchristianchurch. If you turn on notifications you will be alerted whenever we go live.

And if you would like to contribute, remember that we have a “Give” button on our website, nbcc.cc.

Psalm 91:1-2: Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Whether you choose to attend with us or worship from home, we wish you all the richest of God’s blessings on you, your family, and especially now, your health.
